Press Release - Fiji Sun Newspaper installs PRIME UV dryers on their state- of- the- art newspaper press line

Soon with every dollar spent on a Fiji Sun Newspaper, a reader can expect an even bigger, brighter and better quality newspaper.

The installation will see the Fiji Sun press crew be able to print a 40-page section all in color in a single run. No longer will some parts of bigger papers have to be printed in Black & White only.

Fiji Sun publisher/CEO Peter Lomas said that the Fiji Sun installed Prime UV high speed Radmax UV dryers "to double the color capacity of the press. This will be something never seen before in the Pacific Islands.

"It again illustrates the commitment of our owner, C.J. Patel, to continually invest in developing quality for our readers and advertisers." Mr. Lomas said.

Mr. Lomas highlighted how the Fiji Sun had gone from producing newsppapers of 32 pages to now having up to 180 pages in its' Saturday editions. Now it is leading the way bey becoming the first always-all-in-color newspaper. "Bigger, brighter, better is becoming even better," Mr. Lomas enthused.
